Scenes of St. Mary's Convent, Church and Meditation Garden
July, 2014: Families of several parishes gathered together at the CYO Girls campground in Port Sanilac, MI. The event was sponsored by the Sisters to awaken an awareness to consecrated life, priesthood, and the call of the laity to mission. Father Nate Harburg from our Diocese was there to celebrated Mass and offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Sister Clare Marie and Sister Maria Inviolata accompanied by members of our youth group and a few of their parents, participated in the Washington DC March for Life, 2014. They travelled with other youth and adults from the Diocese of Saginaw to give witness to the dignity of the human person.
The Christmas Season begins with preparation during Advent. We hosted an Advent Candlelit Tea, with Scripture meditations on the coming of Christ, the Children's club participated in Christmas Caroling for the Elderly, and made Gingerbread houses for their families. Midnight Mass Celebration on Christmas saw the Children singing before the manger scene as we all gathered to participate in Holy Mass.
Vocations Day, 2013: For the whole family, a day to pray and discern God's will in one's life.
